Job summary

Invenergy seeks a Solar Technician to support the Blue Bird solar facility near Warrenton, MO. You will perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on site equipment and substation systems, monitor performance, and assist in vegetation management under safety guidelines.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and technical experience, travel up to 30%, and the ability to work outdoors and nights as needed. The schedule is 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of technical experience (electrical) and/or technical education.
• Willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Willing to work nights during maintenance activities.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Able to climb / work safely from a portable ladder.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on site solar, substation, and related equipment.
• Conduct vegetation management and operate large equipment per plan.
• Troubleshoot inverter, tracker, network, and substation issues.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of site components.
• Daily site maintenance with safety equipment and repairs as needed.
• Follow schedule 7:00am–3:30pm, with overtime and occasional night work.
• Maintain tooling, facilities, and a clean, safe work environment.
