Job summary

Invenergy, LLC is hiring a Solar Technician for the Blue Bird site near Warrenton, MO. The role focuses on operating and maintaining a large solar facility, including substation and DC/AC systems.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform routine maintenance, and manage vegetation as per plan. The position requires a high school diploma, 1 year of technical experience, and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year technical experience or related education.
• Willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on all site solar, substation, and associated equipment.
• Perform vegetation management according to the vegetation plan.
• Troubleshoot inverter faults, tracker faults, network communications, ground faults, and site performance issues.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of site components.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment while wearing required safety gear.
• Work a 7:00am–3:30pm schedule with overtime and possible night work.
