Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is hiring Renewable Energy Technicians to maintain wind turbines, PV systems, and BESS at our Boron, CA sites. Roles range from Technician 1 to Technician 5, with progression based on experience and competency standards.

All hires undergo a 3–4 week training and certification in Albert Lea, MN. A safety-first culture, onsite responsibilities, and a 24/7 on-call rotation for Techs 2–5 support career development and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year in renewable energy or equivalent field.
• 1 to 2 years in renewable energy or similar discipline.
• 2+ years renewable energy experience.
• 2-4 years of renewable energy experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of renewable energy experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and lead site safety assessments.
• Maintain company property and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Complete daily maintenance logs, work orders, time tracking, and warranty/inventory documentation.
• Attend required safety and technical training.
• Support site budget control by seeking efficiencies.
• Techs 2-5 participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for system monitoring and fault identification.
