Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking Renewable Energy Technicians at our Boron, CA sites (Aratina 1 and Aratina 2) to maintain and repair wind, PV, and BESS assets. The role spans five levels with increasing autonomy, leadership, and training responsibilities, from entry-level Tech 1 to Expert/Lead Tech 5.

Responsibilities focus on safety, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting across on-site assets, with training and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must meet Qualified Electrical Worker standards.
• Experience levels range from Tech 1 to Tech 5 with increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs; learn and follow safety protocols.
• Perform preventative maintenance and participate in the 24-hour On Call rotation.
• Lead teams on routine tasks and potentially train Techs 1-3.
• Maintain safety and asset integrity across all sites.
