Job summary

The Development Engineer Intern at SitelogIQ supports the DG project development process, including solar PV and BESS feasibility, cost estimates, and documentation. The role runs April–August 2027 and requires coordination with engineering and sales teams.

You will assist in preparing submittals, analyze project costs, and maintain documents in a collaborative IT environment, while traveling up to 30% as needed. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Working towards undergraduate degree in engineering, environment studies, or business.
• Work experience collaborating with others required.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical or power systems.
• Experience performing sales liaison and client collaboration in energy or related industries.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Professional communication skills.
• Support and participate in continuous process and quality improvement.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and sales in project development, with a heavy focus on thorough communication and the development of proposals and supporting documents.
• Analyze solar and BESS projects for feasibility, including design, project costs, and ROI.
• Collaborate with engineering team to support the development of plan sets under direct supervision.
• Prepare and review submittal packages (including product data sheets, schematic drawings, detailed drawings, for content, accuracy, and alignment to proposal goals.
• Upload and maintain all internal documentation in provided collaborative IT environment and manage document control processes.
• Any, and all ad-hoc reporting, requests or other tasks deemed necessary.
