Job summary

Continental Energy Solutions offers a CES Solar and Energy Storage Intern position to gain hands-on experience in designing and managing solar and storage projects. You will be mentored by project managers or engineers and learn through real-world tasks.

You will assist in site evaluations, basic system design, permitting documentation, field support, and data analysis while developing communication and teamwork skills in a renewable energy environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed engineering/renewable energy degree.
• Strong interest in renewable energy and solar technology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with CAD software is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamentals of solar energy and energy storage technologies.
• Assist in site evaluations and basic system design tasks.
• Use CAD to create design plans and estimate project costs.
• Help prepare project documentation for permits and regulatory approvals.
• Familiarize with local building codes and permit processes.
• Shadow installation teams and support project tasks.
• Collect and analyze performance data from installed systems.
• Take on leadership responsibilities for small projects under mentorship.
