Job summary

SitelogIQ, a leading energy and lighting services provider in Denver, seeks a Development Engineer Intern to support the project development process for street lighting initiatives. You will assist with data analysis, cost estimates, and proposal development, working under supervision during April–August 2027.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and accurate technical work within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering, environmental studies, GIS, or business.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with energy or related industries preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and sales in project development, with focus on thorough communication and proposals/documents.
• Analyze field audit, utility, and GIS data for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with photometric modeling, energy-savings calculations, and other analyses under supervision.
• Participate in site visits, field audits, QA/QC activities as needed.
• Upload and maintain internal documentation in collaborative IT environment and manage document control processes.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting or other tasks as required.
