Job summary

SitelogIQ is seeking a Development Engineer Intern to support the project development process with a focus on Distributed Generation projects, primarily Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems. You will assist engineering and sales teams with proposals, cost estimates, and documentation, and coordinate subcontractor RFQs, aiming to improve accuracy and schedule adherence for April through August 2027.

Qualifications

Pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering, environmental studies, or business.
Experience collaborating with others.
Basic knowledge of electrical or power systems.
Experience in energy or related industries as a sales liaison.
Proficiency with MS Office.
Strong professional communication skills.
Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

Support engineering and sales in project development, with emphasis on communication and proposal development.
Analyze solar and BESS projects for feasibility, including design, costs, and ROI.
Collaborate with engineering to develop plan sets under supervision.
Prepare and review submittal packages and ensure content aligns with proposals.
Upload and maintain internal documents; manage document control processes.
Complete ad-hoc reporting and other tasks as needed.
