Job summary

SitelogIQ, Inc. is seeking a Development Engineer Intern to support the DG project development process, with focus on Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems.

You will assist engineering and sales with proposals, cost estimates, and documentation, under supervision during the April 2027–August 2027 window. The role requires pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering, environment studies, or business, collaboration skills, and ability to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Working towards undergraduate degree in engineering, environment studies, or business.
• Work experience collaborating with others required.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical or power systems.
• Experience performing sales liaison and client collaboration in energy or related industries.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Professional communication skills.
• Support and participate in continuous process and quality improvement.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and sales in project development, with a heavy focus on thorough communication and the development of proposals and supporting documents.
• Analyze solar and BESS projects for feasibility, including design, project costs, and ROI.
• Collaborate with engineering team to support the development of plan sets under direct supervision.
• Prepare and review submittal packages (including product data sheets, schematic drawings, detailed drawings, for content, accuracy, and alignment to proposal goals).
• Upload and maintain all internal documentation in provided collaborative IT environment and manage document control processes.
• Any, and all ad-hoc reporting, requests or other tasks deemed necessary.
