IGS Energy is seeking a Residential Solar Operations Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting a fast-growing solar business. You will collaborate across billing, document management, solar system monitoring, analytics, and contract management.

This hands-on internship targets students in Business Administration, IT, or Economics with strong Excel and MS Office skills, an eye for detail, and a drive to improve processes in a dynamic energy company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Business Administration, IT, Economics or related field
• Strong Excel skills and MS Office proficiency
• Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Gain cross-functional exposure across billing, documentation, UCC and SREC applications, monitoring, analytics, contract management, marketing, data and IT
• Assist with day-to-day solar operations processes for residential projects and customers
• Create and update training materials, user guides and job aids for team learning
• Audit completed work, identify issues, and provide status updates to management
• Collaborate with internal teams and IGS Engineering, Procurement and Construction partners
• Drive continuous improvement to improve efficiency, accuracy, and business processes
• Contribute to team success by meeting accuracy, service level, financial and operational goals
