Job summary
ION Solar is seeking a Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair solar array racking, seal roof penetrations, and install related equipment. Construction background, roofing and electrical experience are required; solar experience is preferred.
A valid driver's license and basic hand tools are essential. Responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, completing projects within time frames and budgets, and maintaining high QA/QC with a focus on crew safety, while delivering excellent
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of construction experience; solar experience preferred.
- Electrical and roofing experience preferred; OSHA compliant.
Responsibilities
- Assemble solar array racking and seal roof penetrations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
- Complete projects within policies, procedures, timeframes, and budgets.
- Maintain QA/QC with emphasis on crew safety.
- Communicate with customers in a professional, respectful manner.
