Job summary

ION Solar is seeking an Installer to assemble, install and maintain solar PV systems for residential projects. You will work on rooftops, ensure weather sealing, perform routine maintenance, and support electricians as needed.

Required is a high school diploma; vocational training is a plus, with experience in solar, roofing, or construction. Competitive wages, 401K, PTO, and holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical training preferred.
• Experience in solar, roofing, or construction preferred.
• Ability to read building plans and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs.
• Configures PV systems per site conditions and connects to grid.
• Maintains quality assurance and crew safety standards.
• Completes projects according to procedures and policies.
• Assists Electrician with PV panel connections to the electrical system.
