Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Service Electrician in Texas to perform advanced troubleshooting on residential PV and battery systems and to lead training for Field Service Technicians.

The role entails coordinating service schedules, supporting onboarding, and driving performance metrics in a fast-paced field environment. You will work with the Electrical Foreman and Branch Manager to allocate resources, ensure safety, and maintain quality across service and warranty projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field construction or electrical experience required with at least 1 year of experience troubleshooting residential PV and battery systems.
• High School diploma is required
• PV design or PV electrical experience is required

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
• Coordinate with Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and Branch Manager to allocate labor resources for service and warranty projects.
• Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices
• Support onboarding and training of new field performance team members
• Exceed field performance KPIs including turnaround time, experience rating and dispatches completed
