Job summary

Moss seeks a Safety Manager to lead EHS on Moss Solar project sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous safety program improvement. You will partner with project teams to implement BESS safety protocols and oversee site safety performance.

Requires up to 100% travel across multiple states, knowledge of OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations, and strong communication skills to engage diverse teams and maintain safe operations.

Qualifications

• Associates or BS in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred) or leadership experience in related field.
• Knowledge of DOT/DOL/EPA regulations and OSHA safety compliance in power generation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact across diverse cultures.

Responsibilities

• Leads EHS functions on a project site.
• Oversees project EHS team performance and direction.
• Implements BESS-specific safety protocols for installation and commissioning.
• Prioritizes, delegates, and completes multiple tasks.
• Supports and maintains EHS programs and compliance plans on site.
• Collaborates with project and construction teams to integrate safety.
• Keeps safety credentials current.
• Assesses EHS-related risks and maintains records.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and in a team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
