Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. seeks a Solar Safety Specialist to provide field safety support and help implement safety policies across general construction and utility-scale solar projects.

The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA standards, electrical safety, and renewable energy environments, with responsibilities spanning audits, training, incident investigations, and development of safety plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety & Health or equivalent required.
• 3–6+ years' construction safety experience; solar/renewables experience preferred.
• OSHA 30/10 trainer certifications preferred or OSHA 30-hour training.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety audits, inspections, and training across projects.
• Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, NFPA 70E compliance; liaise with regulators as needed.
• Develop project safety plans and job safety analyses for solar sites.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions; document findings and lessons learned.
