Job summary

Kokosing seeks a Solar Safety Specialist to support field safety across general construction and utility-scale solar projects. You will help implement OSHA-based policies, lead safety meetings, and coordinate with project teams to maintain regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of construction safety experience, strong knowledge of electrical safety and NFPA 70E, and the ability to work nights and weekends as needed on a high-production site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety & Health or equivalent.
• 3–6+ years of construction safety experience preferred, solar/renewable energy exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing strategies to reduce injuries and incidents on projects.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and documentation across operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, NFPA 70E and company policies.
