Trinity Solar is seeking a skilled Structural Technician to prepare homes for solar installations. You’ll perform framing, roofing improvements, leak repairs, and general construction tasks on varied residential sites while upholding safety and quality standards.

You’ll measure sites, document work, and collaborate with on-site teams to ensure durable, code-compliant results. This role emphasizes hands-on crafts, problem solving, and dependable, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in carpentry and roofing with hands-on experience using standard construction tools.
• Ability and willingness to perform a variety of construction, repair, and maintenance tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assess jobsite conditions and determine appropriate solutions.
• Comfortable working at heights and on roofs for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a strong attendance record.
• Professional and courteous communication skills, particularly with customers on-site.
• Ability to lift and carry 40–50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assess project sites, take accurate measurements, and prepare for structural and installation needs.
• Perform structural improvements, including framing, sistering rafters, and other construction-related modifications.
• Diagnose and repair roof leaks quickly and effectively.
• Perform home repairs associated with solar installations, including siding, drywall, and other general construction work.
• Use standard carpentry, roofing, and construction tools safely and effectively.
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site.
• Document completed work with photos, project details, and reports.
• Submit all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Maintain company vehicle standards and care for tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety policies and quality standards.
• Assist with additional construction, repair, and installation-related tasks as needed.
