Job summary

Trinity Solar Extcs is seeking a skilled Carpenter/Roofer to support solar installations by performing repairs and upgrades that ensure safety, durability, and a polished finish. This hands-on role covers framing improvements, roof repairs, siding and drywall work, and on-site customer communication.

Candidates should have a solid foundation in carpentry and roofing, be able to lift 40-50 lbs, pass drug and MVR checks, and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in carpentry and roofing, with experience using standard tools.
• Willingness to take on a variety of construction and maintenance tasks.
• Comfortable working at heights and on roofs for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry 40-50 lbs regularly.
• Dependable with a strong attendance record.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Assess project sites, take accurate measurements, and prepare for installation needs.
• Make structural improvements such as framing and sistering rafters.
• Diagnose and repair roof leaks quickly and effectively.
• Perform home repairs related to solar installs, including siding and drywall work.
• Provide professional, courteous communication to customers while on-site.
• Document all work thoroughly with photos and details, submitting reports on time.
• Keep a clean, organized jobsite and uphold company vehicle standards.
• Assist with additional construction-related tasks as needed.
