Job summary

North Eastern Services is looking for a Quality Control Manager to oversee the quality control process in solar project development in Maryland. Responsibilities include conducting site visits, reviewing project materials, and ensuring compliance with quality guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the solar industry, strong communication skills, and a degree in Engineering, Construction, or Electrical Systems. This role requires the ability to work independently and a high level of travel.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in solar construction or equivalent.
• High level of project construction knowledge and subcontractor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple audits/site visits to monitor the quality of the installation.
• Work with CMs, PEs, and PMs to review submittals and drawings.
• Generate QAQC reports and punch lists.

Skills

Exceptional Communication Skills

QAQC experience in the solar industry

Strong electrical background specific to the solar industry

Strong knowledge of solar racking systems

Ability to work remotely and independently

General Construction experience

Ability to travel

Excellent computer skills

Education

Qualification in Engineering, Construction, or Electrical Systems
