Job summary

SolarGaines is seeking a Quality Control Manager in Cockeysville, Maryland. This role involves overseeing quality control at various critical touch points in solar project development, from site assessments to final inspections.

The ideal candidate will have QAQC experience in the solar industry, strong electrical knowledge, and excellent communication skills. A high level of travel will be required. Knowledge of solar racking systems and Procore experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in solar construction or equivalent.
• Ability to work remotely and independently, and be a self-starter.
• Ability to travel—a high level of travel is needed for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits/site visits to monitor installation quality for all commercial projects.
• Collaborate with CMs, PEs, and PMs on submittals, drawings, and RFIs from subcontractors.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure project completion to specifications.

General Construction experience
