Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc. is seeking a Solar Technician to assemble, install, and maintain PV systems on roofs or structures in line with project drawings and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have NCCER solar credentials and 2+ years of installation experience, with own tools and the ability to read plans and follow instructions. This full-time role requires outdoor work, safety awareness, and teamwork on site.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Solar Installer or equivalent in construction.
• Ability to understand and follow directions and plans.
• Must have all necessary tools to perform solar installation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or structures per drawings and specs.
• Lay out, assemble, and install solar modules, rails, and support structures.
• Follow safety rules, perform pre-job safety discussions, and document activities.
