Job summary

Arevon is seeking a Field Technician to support the maintenance and operation of a utility-scale PV power plant in Las Vegas, NV. You will monitor plant performance via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting, and supervise contractors to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• 3 years of direct PV solar technician experience or 6 years in a non-solar electrical maintenance role.
• Valid U.S. Driver license with acceptable MVR history.
• Excellent writing and verbal skills.
• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems and SCADA.
• Familiar with CMMS systems for maintenance tracking.
• Electrical safety knowledge and arc flash awareness.

Responsibilities

• Report to Site Manager in Las Vegas, NV and supervise contractors for safe, high-quality maintenance.
• Monitor PV plant operation via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on AC/DC systems and inverters.
• Develop and follow operating, maintenance, and safety procedures; ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Prepare formal reports and data for regulatory or client reporting.
