Job summary

ION Solar, LLC is seeking a skilled Installer to join our VA Chesapeake team. You will assemble, install, and maintain solar PV systems on rooftops, configuration based on site conditions, and connect panels to the electrical grid.

This full-time, day-shift position requires a high school diploma, relevant construction experience, and the ability to work at heights. We offer competitive wages and health benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical training preferred.
• Experience in solar, roofing, or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs.
• Configures PV systems based on site conditions and connects panels to the power grid.
• Maintains quality assurance and crew safety.
• Completes projects within established policies and procedures.
• Ensures that equipment is weather sealed.
• Performs routine maintenance on PV systems.
• Assists the Electrician with connecting PV panels to the electrical system.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
