Positive Energy Solar is hiring a Solar PV Installer to join a team-based field crew in the Albuquerque area. The temp role covers installation of solar photovoltaic systems under the Lead Installer and Superintendent supervision, including wiring, assembly, and equipment prep.

Ideal candidates have PV installation experience, AC/DC wiring knowledge, and a commitment to safety and quality. Travel to job sites may be required; 10-hour days, Mon-Thu, with a 3-day weekend option, and benefits are

Qualifications

• PV installations experience; NABCEP certification a plus.
• AC and DC electrical wiring experience; Journeyman Electrician license a big plus.
• Experience with safe use of hand-held and power tools.
• Experience in roof work, general construction, or carpentry.
• Computer skills: email, calendar, Google Drive, time cards.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to work with high quality and integrity.
• Safely operate personal and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation of solar PV system from design documents.
• Carry tools and equipment across work sites and up ladders onto roofs.
• Ensure equipment is stocked on truck.
• Assemble job components in the warehouse.
• Layout and assembly of solar modules, array, and mounting hardware.
• Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment.
• Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC).
• Follow safety and quality protocols.
• Keep work trucks clean and organized.
