Job summary

Our World Energy is hiring a Solar Installer to assemble, install, and maintain residential PV systems on rooftops in Albuquerque, NM. You will join a field operations crew, work onsite, and ensure compliance with site plans and local codes.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality workmanship, with weekly pay, company-provided equipment, and a clear path for growth within a fast-growing solar company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent or trade school training in solar/electrical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install racking system and solar panels on residential roofs with a crew.
• Mount racking and electrical equipment and seal penetrations.
• Perform routine PV system maintenance on modules and safety systems.
• Read blueprints and plan documents; install wiring per plans and codes.
• Ensure proper job documentation is completed after installation.
• Interact with customers and answer questions as needed.
• Demonstrate OSHA safety practices and standards on site.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Crew Lead.
