Pure Power Engineering Inc. seeks an engineer to design and generate construction documents for commercial and industrial solar PV systems.

You will create electrical and structural drawings, calculation packages for bidding, permits and construction, and support interconnection studies from our Denver, CO office with occasional site visits. The role requires a BS in electrical engineering, 2+ years of AutoCAD experience, and hands-on testing/troubleshooting of electrical systems.

Formación

• BS in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Ability to communicate among construction, technical and non-technical personnel, both internally and outside the company.
• 2+ years’ experience with AutoCAD including layer control, dimensioning, sheet sets, blocks, xrefs, line weights, plot files and file transmission.
• Hands-on experience commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design and engineer commercial PV solar systems from 100kW to 20MW.
• Develop construction documents using AutoCAD.
• Prepare specifications, data gathering and interconnection applications and building permit applications.
• Develop detailed equipment specifications.
• Coordinate activities between clients, utilities, permit agencies, contractors and other engineering firms.
• Travel to project sites to gather data and perform site assessments as required.
• Produce site-specific production analyses of PV arrays using models such as PVsyst.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior engineering personnel.
• Additional tasks as assigned.
