Job summary

ION Solar, LLC is seeking a Crew Lead Installer to assemble, install, and maintain solar PV systems while leading the crew on site. You will ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction through adept technical execution.

The role requires solar install experience, the ability to read plans, and strong leadership to guide teammates through installation procedures and site-specific requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Solar install experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install solar panels on roofs.
• Configure PV systems per site conditions and connect to grid.
• Uphold safety, QA/QC, and OSHA guidelines.
• Lead and train crew members on procedures and tools.
• Review BOM and plan sets, verify materials before starting.
• Perform final system walkthrough with customers.
