Job summary

Ion Solar is seeking a Crew Lead Installer to assemble, install, and maintain solar PV systems. The role includes providing leadership to other crew members on the job and ensuring safety and quality on rooftop installations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and solar install experience; vocational training is a plus. You will work outdoors on roofs and coordinate with electricians, while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have PV installation knowledge and electrical wiring expertise.
• Ability to read and interpret building plans and equipment manuals.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used in PV installation.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs.
• Leads and trains crew members on site.
• Maintains safety and quality standards on job sites.
• Reviews plans and BOM before work starts.
• Completes projects according to policies and procedures.
• Coordinates with electricians and other trades.
