Job summary

SOLV Energy in Bend, OR, is seeking an Engineering Optimization support role to assist with workflows, tools, and value engineering initiatives across solar, storage, and substation projects. This hybrid position requires collaboration with senior engineers and project teams.

You will use in-house software, coordinate with cross-functional groups, and help test, roll out, and train teams on new capabilities, with a focus on improving efficiency, cost effectiveness, and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 1–3 years of engineering, EPC, construction, or renewable energy experience preferred.
• Engineer-in-Training (FE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and procurement teams with in-house software solutions (Propt tool).
• Coordinate with Engineering Management, Preconstruction, Procurement, Software Development, and LIT team as directed by Engineering Optimization Manager.
• Learn and apply established workflows for engineering technologies and process improvements across SOLV projects.
