Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an engineer to support the implementation and execution of optimization workflows and value engineering initiatives across solar, storage, and high voltage substation projects. The role is hybrid with in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR, with location details discussed during interviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 1–3 years of engineering, EPC, construction, or renewable energy experience.
• F.E. preferred; basic understanding of utility-scale solar project design.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and procurement teams using in-house software (Propt).
• Coordinate with Engineering Management, Preconstruction, Procurement, Software Development, and LIT.
• Develop pile matrices and follow standardized workflows for pile procurement and project execution.
• Test, roll out, and train on new capabilities and process improvements.
• Assist in automation and reporting tool development and integration.
