Job summary

HSI Solar, LLC seeks a Solar Project Manager in Indianapolis to lead commercial solar projects from development through commissioning. Based in our Indianapolis office, you will support projects nationwide and work directly with company leadership to manage diverse portfolios for agricultural, commercial, industrial, nonprofit, and municipal customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of project management experience; 3+ years in commercial solar/renewable energy.
• Willingness to travel; periodic project site visits across the U.S.
• Experience leading meetings and cross-functional teams; strong communication.
• Scheduling software experience (MS Project) and job costing.
• Experience reviewing Solesca or Helioscope reports preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate outsourced design engineering and ensure code compliance.
• Manage procurement, equipment selection, and domestic-content considerations.
• Oversee subcontractors and lower-tier resources; track deviations and changes.
• Prepare contract exhibits and track project milestones and deliverables.
• Lead monthly financial meetings with budget and forecast updates.
• Coordinate permits, approvals, and closeout activities.
• Ensure alignment with contract terms and project-specific agreements.
