Job summary

Bone Dry Solar is seeking a Solar Production Manager in Indianapolis to oversee the production and installation of solar energy systems, guiding a team of installation professionals and coordinating scheduling and ordering. You will lead project planning, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while working with cross-functional teams and traveling as needed within the solar markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in solar installation and project management.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV technology, electrical systems, and construction methods.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Google Suite.
• Military service a plus; Spanish language a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required; able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Comfortable outdoors and at heights; able to travel to other markets.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead installation technicians, subcontractors, and field personnel; ensure safety and quality across markets.
• Resource Management: Manage materials, equipment, and labor; procure and coordinate deliveries; monitor inventory.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and conduct training; investigate incidents.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records, permits, inspections, and progress metrics.
