Bone Dry Roofing is seeking a Solar Production Manager to oversee the production and installation of solar energy systems. Based in Indianapolis, you will lead projects from planning to execution, coordinating with engineering, design, and field teams to ensure timely, on-budget outcomes.

You will supervise installation pros, ensure safety and quality standards, manage resources, and travel as needed across markets. This role offers growth and competitive benefits in a dynamic solar environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering, renewable energy or related field.
• Proven experience in solar installation and project management.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV technology, electrical systems, and construction methods.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Google Suite.
• Military service a plus; Spanish language a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; able to travel to other markets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule projects with timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Lead installation technicians, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Ensure quality and safety; conduct site inspections and address issues.
• Manage materials, equipment, and labor to optimize costs.
• Maintain project records and generate progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and permits.
• Coordinate with engineering/design for feasibility and optimization.
• Provide training and mentorship to the installation team.
