Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a Product Line Manager for its Solar business in the US market to lead and manage the product line strategy.

You will ensure deep understanding of the US solar market and growth drivers to create compelling value propositions for Corning’s domestic portfolio, including modules, wafers and polysilicon. You will partner with sales and business directors to maximize market share, revenue and profitability while coordinating with global teams to prioritize development and

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent demonstrated experience (i.e. extensive experience in business operations and leadership).
• 1+ years of business or management experience.
• Experience leading a team.
• Participation in, or leadership of, multicultural and/or multi-geographic projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product strategies for solar modules, wafers and polysilicon.
• Create a product roadmap and prioritize development activity.
• Articulate solar value propositions and competitive positioning.
• Manage across the product line responsibilities for solar modules.
• Develop pricing strategy based on cost analysis, competitive analysis and value.
• Collaborate with sales to maximize share and gross margin.
• Create, implement and maintain process documents to improve selling decks.
