Job summary

Corning is seeking a Product Line Manager for its Solar business in the U.S. to develop and execute a product line strategy for Polysilicon and Solar Wafer portfolios, driving sales growth and profitability.

You will partner with manufacturing, finance, planning, and engineering to define products, value propositions, pricing, and lifecycle management, and to enable commercial success. Travel up to 20% within the US and internationally; MBA or equivalent experience preferred, 3+ years in product

Qualifications

• 3+ years in product management, product marketing, business strategy, or related roles.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments with technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders.
• Experience leading or supporting product commercialization, portfolio management, pricing strategy, forecasting, and business case development.

Responsibilities

• Develop value propositions that improve margins and enable new selling opportunities.
• Develop and execute the product line planning process with critical projects.
• Work with Product Technology to develop and launch new products.
• Develop product line strategy and manage lifecycle through handoff and commercialization.
• Understand downstream market requirements and assess competitive threats.
• Monitor and manage P&L, revenue growth, and profitability initiatives.
• Address new product requests with business cases, including pricing considerations.
• Optimize inventory by coordinating Forecasting, Sales, Manufacturing, Planning, and others.
• Collaborate to reduce manufacturing complexity and costs.
• Manage product obsolescence to maximize end-of-life value.
• Support development of pricing strategies.
• Articulate product value propositions, attributes, and roadmaps; be SME on downstream use.
