Job summary

CS Power Systems, a cutting-edge division of Canadian Solar, seeks a Process Technician in Jeffersonville, Indiana. You will help maintain and improve production line KPI such as efficiency, yield, cost and reliability, and work with cross-functional teams to keep machines and processes operating.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–2 years in solar cell manufacturing or similar. Overtime and shift flexibility may be required to meet 24/7 production needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in chemical, materials science, microelectronics, or related field.
• 1–2 years in solar cell or related manufacturing preferred; fresh graduates considered.
• Must be responsible, independent, and organized with strong technical and analytical skills.
• Familiar with process engineering, production, and quality systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Resolve efficiency, yield, productivity, cost and reliability issues per SOP.
• Perform daily routine tasks per SOP and supervisor instructions.
• Conduct process experiments to improve cell efficiency and yield; analyze data.
• Maintain records and SPC charts; communicate issues to engineers.
• Attend daily process meetings and provide handover details.
