Job summary

Knobelsdorff is seeking an O&M Technician to support our Power Services division across multiple solar plants in Minnesota. You will perform corrective and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and commission electrical, mechanical, and communication systems to keep plant performance high.

You'll work in the field, uphold KE's Safety, People, Passion, and Performance commitments, and contribute to reliable operations with minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical industry.
• Minnesota Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Master required).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of electrical hazards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with fiber optics, networking, and communication systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred experience with DAS, SCADA, thermal imaging, solar commissioning, IV curve tracing, and heavy equipment operation.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history and ability to travel locally, regionally, and overnight as needed.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
