Job summary

Ipsun Solar is seeking an experienced Solar O&M Technician to service and maintain our residential and commercial installations. You will document service calls, maintain the maintenance pipeline, and help create revenue opportunities while ensuring homeowner satisfaction.

The role involves building and maintaining monitoring platforms, responding to service needs, and collaborating with Field Operations to support a growing client base. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in solar service work and system troubleshooting.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record (no DUI in last 5 years).
• Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair residential solar and battery systems.
• Perform remote troubleshooting and monitoring of solar installations.
• Provide clear documentation of site visit summaries and photos, and maintain a work log.
• Removal and re-installation of residential and commercial solar systems.
• Maintain a stocked, clean, and organized work vehicle.
• Collaborate with other O&M Techs and work independently when needed.
• Communicate frequently with office personnel.
• Perform daily job hazard analyses and follow safe electrical practices.
