Job summary

Solar Landscape, based in Asbury Park, NJ, is seeking O&M Technicians at tiers 1–4 to join our Operations & Management team. You’ll help ensure reliable performance, safety, and efficiency of our commercial solar systems in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Whether newer to the field or experienced, you’ll perform inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting while supporting commissioning and ensuring quality across sites. Join a high-growth team reshaping energy deployment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; tech/trade certs in electrical/mechanical/renewable energy are a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with electrical systems.
• Comfort with hand and power tools; able to use multimeters and insulation resistance meters; IV Curve tracer preferred.
• Able to work safely at heights and outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on solar panels, inverters, and related systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, electrical faults, or component failures to maximize uptime.
• Capture and review thermal imaging during inspections.
• Monitor system performance data and assist with optimization and corrective maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support commissioning and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain accurate service records of maintenance, repairs, and performance data.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain tools, testing equipment, and work vehicle in good order.
• Senior-level technicians will lead troubleshooting and mentor junior team members.
