Job summary

CS Power Systems in Jeffersonville, Indiana, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations on continental shifts. You will oversee daily production, ensure safety, and drive continuous improvement across cross-functional teams while maintaining quality and efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years of supervisory experience, strong Lean/Six Sigma knowledge, and excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. A technical degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work a continental shift (12-hour rotating shifts).
• Proven ability to lead with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Problem-solving using Fishbone, 5 Whys, RCA.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, solution-oriented.
• High school diploma; engineering/technical degree preferred.
• Mandarin is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities for safe, efficient operations.
• Set production objectives and monitor performance against targets.
• Organize workflow and allocate manpower to maximize productivity.
• Coach employees and promote accountability and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Report production performance and issues during handovers.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and training.
• Maintain equipment safety and troubleshoot issues to reduce downtime.
• Prepare and submit production reports on efficiency, quality, and safety.
