Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, seeks a Quality Shift Supervisor in Jeffersonville, IN. You will lead the quality control team on the factory floor, ensuring solar cell quality meets stringent standards and customer specs. You will drive corrective actions and maintain SOPs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing quality, plus 1+ year supervisory experience. Expect a fast-paced environment with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and audits.
• 3+ years in quality in a manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year supervisory experience managing 3+ employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workflows of the quality control team, including supervision, training, inspection scheduling, and task prioritization.
• Oversee in-process quality control and final outgoing inspections of solar cells at critical stages.
• Ensure products meet customer requirements and testing protocols (e.g., efficiency, Voc) and QC criteria.
• Investigate recurring defects using instruments and data to drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production/engineering to implement actions and track effectiveness.
• Conduct internal audits for SOPs, regulatory standards, and customer requirements.
