Job summary

Global Land Partners, LLC seeks qualified Land Agents in the Des Moines, IA area to assist in the acquisition of solar leases. The Land Agent interacts with landowners, clients, attorneys and contractors, presenting a professional face for the company.

We value a minimum of 3 years’ experience in easement acquisition and strong communication skills for negotiating contracts and coordinating multi-party projects across our client network in renewable energy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in Land and Acquisition for Renewable Energy, DOT, public utility, oil and gas or real estate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate legal contract terminology to landowners clearly and precisely.
• Ability to multi-task multiple projects and communications between all involved parties.
• Knowledge of the sequence to acquire easements and the related legal terminology.

Responsibilities

• Represent the client while corresponding with landowners, attorneys, and contractors.
• Assist in acquiring renewable energy contracts, including solar and energy storage sites with multiple landowners.
• Document all contact with landowners.
• Communicate project details to the Project Manager responsible for the project.
