Job summary
EDF power solutions North America is seeking a Land Agent for field-based land acquisitions to support renewable energy project development. The role involves negotiating land agreements, assisting in securing leases and easements, and coordinating with regional teams to advance projects from development through implementation.
The position requires 2+ years of land acquisition experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong negotiation, communication, and contract drafting
Qualifications
- Proven sales, account acquisition and management experience.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and public speaking abilities.
- Contract drafting experience required.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of time.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and manage relationships with landowners to secure long-term land agreements for renewable project development.
- Assist in obtaining executed documents for land leases, purchases, easements, and related instruments.
- Coordinate land acquisition campaigns with regional teams, identifying prospective sites and negotiating with landowners.
- Provide weekly updates and status reports on project activities to the Manager, Land Acquisition.
