Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs.

• Maintains high levels of quality assurance and crew safety; completes projects per policies.
• Assists Electrician with connecting PV panels to the electrical system.
• Performs unit maintenance and ensures weather sealing of equipment.

Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.We are currently in search of a skilled Installer who will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar PV systems..**Duties/Responsibilities:*** Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs* Configures PV systems based on site conditions and customers needs and expectations; connects panels to the power grid* Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety* Complete projects within established policies and procedures* Ensures that equipment is weather sealed* Performs routine maintenance on PV systems* Responsible for assisting the Electrician with connecting PV panels to the electrical system* Performs other related duties as assigned**Required Skills/Abilities:*** Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation.* Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.* Ability to read building plans.* Ability to read equipment manuals.* Ability to use hand and power tools to install PV panels.* Ability to use ION technology, such as smartphones, Paycom, Field Pro, SalesForce, etc.**Education and Experience:*** High school diploma or equivalent required.* Vocational or technical school training preferred.* Experience in solar, roofing, or construction preferred**Physical Requirements:*** Must be able to work at great heights.* Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders.* Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.**Work Environment:*** PV installation is done outdoors. Installers work on rooftops but also sometimes work in attics and crawl spaces to connect panels to the electrical grid.* PV installers work as part of a team.
