Job summary

Empower Solar is seeking an Installation Coordinator to manage installation calendars, answer customer questions, and coordinate between Sales and Operations for a smooth customer journey.

Responsibilities include scheduling, homeowner communications, and post-install follow-up while ensuring timely project progression and access to monitoring. 1+ year in solar or customer service is preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the solar and/or customer service industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
• Confidence, drive, enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility.
• Excellent complex multi-functional project and people management skills.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues in a confidential manner.

Responsibilities

• Daily review and scheduling of projects ready for installation.
• Notify homeowners when projects are ready for scheduling and coordinate with Sales/Operations.
• Coordinate between Construction and Operations to ensure install teams have calendar time.
• Provide day-of-installation guidance to homeowners.
• Send scheduling confirmations via text and email.
• Send reminder communications 48 hours before scheduled date.
• Follow up post-installation to update homeowners on project status.
• Notify homeowners when Permission to Operate is received and grant monitoring access.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
