Job summary

Empower Solar is a full service, residential solar installer seeking experienced, driven individuals to join our growing team. Installers work on a crew installing PV system components and electrical equipment under supervision to ensure successful operation.

Responsibilities include leading site installations, ensuring safety, collecting project data, and training crews to complete projects within SOPs. Travel within California bi-weekly may be required; strong communication with customers is

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ solar installation experience in both commercial and residential applications.
• Minimum 1 year of leading a crew of 3 or more.
• Ability to travel within California on a bi-weekly basis based on project location.
• Clean driving and background record.

Responsibilities

• Leads Solar installation on site.
• Care and safety of the crew members on jobsites.
• Assures completeness of installation from roof to electrical.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Collect data and photos during and at the end of each project.
• Organize, lead and train crews to complete projects within SOPs.
• Knowledge of installation of Battery Back-up systems.
• Complete projects within given time frames and budgets.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
• Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate manner.
