Job summary

Capital Electric is seeking a Solar Inside Sales Representative to support solar customers through quotes, orders, deliveries, and account service. This role collaborates with outside sales, credit, purchasing, operations, and logistics to ensure timely projects and exceptional customer experience.

Key measures include customer satisfaction, sales growth, profitability, and market share within solar. Postions are available in multiple locations across the region with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate/degree from college or technical school.
• Six months to two years related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide product recommendations, pricing, and solutions.
• Prepare, manage, and follow up on customer quotes to help close sales opportunities.
• Process customer orders and coordinate deliveries to meet project schedules.
• Work with outside sales teams to support key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support large and high-volume solar customers by managing frequent deliveries and order changes.
• Use customer portals and digital tools to track quotes, orders, and project progress.
• Source non-stock and special-order materials when needed.
• Maintain accurate customer, quote, and order records.
• Provide sales reports, quote analysis, and account updates to management.
