Job summary

New Jersey Resources seeks a Field Technician in Performance Operations to coordinate maintenance and repairs for our solar facilities and to report outages and warranty matters with EPCs and OEMs. You will support project managers on capital projects, assist with commissioning, and serve as a primary contact for landowners and utilities.

The role requires an associate or technical degree and at least one year of relevant experience, with travel about 10% to solar sites across the Northeast.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in operations, engineering or project management.
• Travel about 10% to solar sites in the Northeast region.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all maintenance and repair activities for assigned solar facilities.
• Report outages, file warranty claims with EPC and OEM, and support capital projects.
• Coordinate with landowners, utilities, and vendors; ensure OEM compliance.
• Maintain site data, equipment manuals and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineering and project management to resolve issues.
