Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Performance Technician in New Jersey to manage and complete service and warranty work.

You will work with the Field Service/O&M team and coordinate with the Branch Manager, Electrical Foreman, and Construction Supervisor to allocate resources and ensure timely execution. The role requires 1–3 years in field construction or solar, with PV installation knowledge and a strong focus on safety, customer service, and problem solving.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of field construction or solar experience required.
• PV design or PV electrical experience preferred.
• High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
• Coordinate labor resources with Foreman, Supervisor and Branch Manager.
• Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to train the local field service team.
• Support onboarding and training of new field performance team members.
• Aim to exceed field performance KPIs like turnaround time and dispatches.
• Assist with inspections and site audits when assigned.
