Job summary

Invenergy is looking for a Solar Technician to assist in operating and maintaining the Grimes Solar Energy Center located in Iola, Texas. This role requires performing mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting site issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma and technical experience. Pay ranges from $29.49 to $49.97 hourly, plus eligibility for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of technical experience or education.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel and work nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on site solar and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot complicated electrical and hydraulic problems.
• Conduct daily maintenance inspections of equipment.

Skills

Technical experience (electrical, etc.)

Effective communication skills

Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather

Ability to move and manipulate up to 45 kg

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Tools

Testing equipment and tools (Thermographic Electrical Inspection, I-V Curve Tracing, etc.)
